College Record 2022-2023

Transfer Application Requirements

On-Campus Transfer Application Requirements

Applicants must submit the following materials to be reviewed for an admissions decision:
1. A completed application online by visiting keuka.edu/apply
2. An official copy of final secondary school transcript or general equivalency diploma (GED); or Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC). Note: This requirement will be waived if applicant submits proof of college degree conferral.
3. Official transcripts from all colleges and universities previously attended. Note: Applicants’ academic scholarship will be determined based on the cumulative GPA of all college coursework submitted during the application process.

In addition to the required application materials, the admissions committee also considers recommendations and evidence of participation and leadership in co-curricular activities, special talents, community involvement, and work experience. The challenge and scope of a candidate’s secondary school program curriculum are also factors in the decision process. Supplemental items such as college essays, personal statements, resumes, letters of recommendation, and standardized test scores are not required for admission to the College but will be reviewed if submitted to the Admissions Office.

Determining First-Time versus Transfer Applicant Status

In accordance with IPEDS, a first-time student is defined as a student who has no prior postsecondary experience attending any institution for the first time at the undergraduate level. This includes students enrolled in academic or occupational programs. It also includes students enrolled in the fall term who attended college for the first time in the prior summer term, and students who entered with advanced standing (college credits earned before graduation from high school).

A transfer student is defined as a student entering the reporting institution for the first time but known to have previously attended a postsecondary institution at the same level (e.g., undergraduate, graduate). The student may transfer with or without credit.
