College Record 2022-2023

Readmission of Former Students

Former Keuka College students who have voluntarily and officially withdrawn from the College are eligible to apply for readmission. All applications will be reviewed by the Keuka College Office of Admissions as well as the Registrar’s Office, Academic Division, and/or the Office of Student Affairs, if necessary.

Former students who have been dismissed for academic or disciplinary reasons, or who have been involuntarily withdrawn, may request to return to the College by filling out the Keuka College Readmission Application and should provide supporting information from appropriate academic authorities, employers, or other agencies to accompany their application. All students who have been suspended or dismissed for disciplinary reasons must wait one year to request readmission to Keuka College. All applications will be reviewed by the Office of Admissions as well as the Registrar’s Office, the Academic Division, and the Office of Student Affairs, if necessary.

Readmission Status: If a student has been away from Keuka College for more than one year and has more than a full semester left to complete their degree, the student will be readmitted and will take on the current academic catalog year. Additionally, students who no longer meet college and/or divisional admissions or satisfactory academic progress (SAP) requirements will be required to reapply.

Return to Active Status: If a student has been away from Keuka College for less than one year or is coming back from a leave that was previously approved by the Registrar’s Office, they will be returned to their prior active status and keep the academic catalog year they had prior to leaving Keuka College.

*If a student has less than a full semester remaining to complete their degree and they have been away from Keuka College for more than one year, their catalog year and returning status will be subject to Registrar and Division review.

Students wishing to change their major upon their return will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and should consult with the Registrar’s Office. Each academic program reserves the right to issue an academic contract to a returning student as a term of their readmission or return to active status. Please note if there have been significant curricular changes to a program during the time the student has been away from Keuka College, or if programs have been discontinued, students may not be able to continue under their previous academic catalog year or within the same academic program. Keuka College is not obligated to teach courses or programs that have been discontinued.

All students who wish to return to Keuka College must fill out the proper paperwork and have all account holds lifted. Students may contact the Office of Admissions for further information, at admissions@keuka.edu.
