Computer Science Minor
The Computer Science Minor is intended to provide students with skills in programming, as well as application and web development. Students who complete the minor will have a firm foundation to explore software development, however, students pursuing careers in other industries will also set themselves apart with skills that allow them to solve technological problems. More specifically, students taking the minor will learn how to use the Python programming language and Django framework to build web-based applications. They will additionally learn how to build modern and responsive websites using HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript.
Space in this minor is limited. Students interested in declaring this minor must do so prior to their sophomore year. For more information, please contact the Business Division.
