Finance
The finance minor is designed to provide students with a foundation for working in financial planning, financial analysis, banking or investment planning. Core coursework includes both managerial and financial accounting, macroeconomics, microeconomics, and financial management. Choices of elective courses are available in the areas of investments, money and banking, international financial management, etc. These choices allow students to explore areas of specialized interest, providing the student with the depth of knowledge and experience necessary to enter finance as a career.
