ENG-135 Great Books: Modern Age † *

This course will examine great works of Western literature drawn from the modern age, including representative selections from the early modern period to the present. Complementary texts from other cultural traditions may be included at the instructor's discretion. The course will evaluate works through an understanding of their cultural contexts, their influences and their genres. Course may be repeated but not the topic with permission of the instructor.
