MUS-101 Music History † *

An overview of the history and cultural significance of music through the ages. A survey of classical and popular music with an emphasis on the European classical tradition and American Jazz and popular style periods within the context of world music. This course looks at the techniques, trends, people and places that have contributed to the evolution of music.
