HIS-494 Strategic Systems Programs of the United States Navy Internship

This internship opportunity is sponsored and operated by the Strategic Systems Programs of the United States Navy, which directs the development, production, logistics support, and sustaining engineering effort of the Navy Strategic Weapons Systems. The internship will provide undergraduate students with an introduction to federal employment via on-the-job training. The intern will primarily assist naval officers in the Political Affairs Office of Strategic Systems Programs who prepare briefings for the U.S. Department of Defense and testify in committee hearings conducted by the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate.  Those interns who move on to the Developmental Employee Program will gain real world experience while working towards a full-time position after they graduate from college.
