COM-450 Senior Capstone: Convergence in Professional Practice †

The Professional Capstone course is a concluding interdisciplinary, collaborative environment to practice and prepare for professional success after graduation. This will be done through documentation, reflection and presentation of students’  body of work for audience/client interactions; preparation of professional materials; intensive mentoring; and an interdisciplinary collaborative project with professional focus. Students engage in a team-based interdisciplinary project, often with a client sponsor, representing a commercial, cultural, or social concern.* Students develop strong creative solutions in the context of real world constraints. Guest talks will be frequently included. Emphasis is on teamwork, leadership and client interaction.
