COM-200 Editing and Publishing Practicum

Practical application of basic publishing and editing skills with a focus on creative venues (literary and arts journals). Course focuses on soliciting and gathering materials for publication, making editorial judgments, and preparing periodicals for traditional and online publication. Students engage in conversations with journal editors, participate in workshops, and gain experiential learning through production and online publication of Keuka College’s arts journal, Red Jacket. Students may also be encouraged to contribute their work to Red Jacket.
