NUR-467 Foundational Concepts of Nursing Leadership and Healthcare Management

This is a theory based nursing course where the student integrates knowledge based in science and grounded in the humanities which focuses on concepts related to the role of the nurse as a leader and manager of care in a rapidly changing environment, and professional role development to ensure a solid educational foundation. Analysis of the healthcare landscape within a global context is explored.  Special emphasis is placed on reflective practice in a collaborative team approach to provide holistic care across the lifespan.
