NUR-462 Acute Care of the Adult II
This is a theory and practicum course where the student integrates knowledge based in science and grounded by the humanities. Increasingly complex concepts of acute and chronic nursing care as well as professional role development are explored to ensure a solid educational experience. Advanced approaches to medical-surgical nursing in critical care areas will be applied to adult clients across the health care continuum. Special emphasis is placed on reflective practice and a collaborative team approach to provide holistic care. This course fulfills the requirement for one Keuka College Field Period.
