College Record 2020-2021

Course Load

A normal course load is defined as at least 12 but not more than 18 semester credit hours for the fall and spring semester. To fulfill the requirements of a degree program in four years, a student must complete an average of 30 semester credits each year, including three semester credits for a Field Period experience. Some programs require slightly larger loads. Students typically enroll in five 3-credit courses each semester.

Any student wishing to deviate from the minimum or maximum course load for each semester must submit an exception to policy.

A per-credit charge is assessed for over 18 credit hours a semester or 36 per year.
