ART-281 Digital Photography †

This course introduces students to the creation of images, lighting, and design through the formal system identified as the elements and principles of art. Students will focus on digital capture of images and interpretation through a technical, conceptual and aesthetic approach. Emphasis will be placed on the evolution, history and culture of photography and its social significance and impact on the wider world. Students are to supply their own digital camera, batteries, memory cards and any necessary hardware accessories or software accessories to make the camera functional.
