ART-240 Mixed Media †

Exploration of the possibilities - both in content and in form - from the interaction of multiple media, whether two-dimensional and three-dimensional or traditional and nontraditional media. Experimentation with manipulating surfaces, layering mixed media and incorporating multiple techniques such as drawing, painting, photography, and the digital arts. Investigate artists and how ideas manifest and take physical form in contemporary art. Group discussion and critique.
