BIO-342 Mammalian Anatomy

Students will examine the anatomy of the mammal, with a focus on human anatomy. The course is designed to serve as a pre-gross anatomy course for students planning to continue graduate study in the biological sciences or medical school. The course will include detailed description/examination of tissue histology and the anatomy of major organ systems, including dissections and possible visits to a gross anatomy lab and autopsies. Three hours of lecture and one 3-hour laboratory per week.

Prerequisite: Complete BIO-136, BIO-135, CHM-111, and CHM-112. (Required, Previous). | Corequisite: Take BIO-342L. (Required, Concurrent).
