BIO-306 Animal Behavior

An advanced study of animal behavior utilizing lecture, laboratory, field work, and appropriate supplementary reading. Students will practice observation and analysis of behavior with living animals and videotape presentations. Invertebrate and vertebrate animals will be considered. Each student will complete a review paper on an appropriate topic or a short independent research project. Intended for juniors and seniors or students who have appropriate background in the biology of animals and/or behavior. Lecture and laboratory.
