BIO-305 Animal Diversity

A broad spectrum of animals, both invertebrate and vertebrate, will be examined to provide the student with a working knowledge of the modern fauna and evolutionary mechanisms that are believed to have shaped animal structure and function over millions of years. The presumptive relationships between modern and fossil species will also be considered. Students will design, conduct, analyze and present a limited research project; lecture and laboratory.

Prerequisites: Complete BIO-234 or ENV-105 and BIO-208. (Required, Previous). | Corequisite: Take BIO-305L. (Required, Concurrent).
