Any student found responsible for a Student Code of Community Standards violation, who is also part of an academic program with Dispositions/Ethics requirements, will have a copy of their final outcome letter sent to their academic division. The notification will include the nature of the violation and the related sanction(s).
When a student appears to be engaging in a Student Code of Community Standards violation in an academic setting, the faculty member should stop the behavior and then report the violation to the Director of Community Standards & Student Intervention for adjudication. If a faculty member is made aware of a Title IX/NY 129 violation that occurs in an academic setting (on or off campus), they should immediately report this to the Title IX Coordinator.
