NUR-250 Nursing Fundamentals

This is a theory and practicum nursing course where the student integrates knowledge based in science and grounded by the humanities which explores fundamental nursing concepts and professional role development to ensure a solid educational foundation. Through the use of the nursing process, the student will interact and perform basic nursing and communication skills with diverse human families in a variety of laboratory and health care settings. Special emphasis is placed on reflective practice and a collaborative team approach to provide holistic care across the lifespan.
