MIS-301 Enterprise Information Systems and Technology

This course introduces the student to the field of information systems and technology.  The topics covered in this course will include the following:  information systems, hardware and software, social media, data management, data analytics, information security, and the strategic use of information systems.  A particular focus of the course will be how technology is applied for competitive advantage, and used to enhance other disciplines such as marketing, accounting, finance, and operations.
