This course provides students with focused study into the processes of written communication and emphasizes rhetorical reading and the ability to respond clearly and effectively to a variety of rhetorical situations. Students learn to read as writers and write analytical, reflective, and public texts for an assortment of purposes and audiences. Through holistic instruction and weekly writing workshops, students actively engage in and produce academic discourse.
