OCC-425 Occupations Across the Lifespan

This course will develop the student's skill in understanding and applying the principles of occupation as they related to the health and wellness of individuals. Through lecture, discussion, application activities, and experiential learning, students will explore the occupations engaged in by individuals across the lifespan, with a focus on occupational balance and adaptation in response to life changes. This course will integrate analysis and application of literature from the discipline of occupational science.

Complete OCC-225 OCC-441 OCC-442 OCC-443. Take OCC-431, OCC-435, OCC-455 and OCC-460 either as prerequisites or corequisites. Junior or Senior Occupational Therapy Major.
