COM-350 Digital Publishing

This course is a complementary blend of theory and principles of art and design. Students, for example, will plan and produce journals, newsletters, brochures, advertising and public relations materials. The emphasis is on increasing students' knowledge of audience needs and perceptions, what constitutes good design and how to apply that knowledge. Students will create a variety of portfolio pieces that meet professional quality standards and demonstrate their knowledge of digital publishing, writing and design, and oral communication.
