ART-387 Seminar: Professional Practice in A&D

An exploration of professional practices associated with the fields of art and design. Topics will include portfolio development, the preparation of exhibitions and other public presentations of work, professional writing, networking, marketing, copyright and documentation. Course activities will include lectures, demonstrations, visiting practitioners, and other speakers, and gallery visits, and a culminating project in which students develop, refine, and present a portfolio of their work.
