SWK-535 Practice II

This course focuses on the student's development and integration of professional use of self in their direct practice with clients, as well as family systems, and group. Skill emphasis will be in nonverbal behavior, use of various clinical assessment tools, awareness of and sensitivity to cultural diversity and self-awareness. Students will further develop their critical thinking skills by integrating quantitative and qualitative research as part of their evidence-based, generalist social work practice.
