OCC-120 Introduction to Occupational Therapy

This course will introduce the student to occupational therapy by examining the history and development of its philosophical base and core values. Students will understand the scope of OT through an introduction to the psychosocial, physical and cultural contexts of the OT profession. In addition, students will be introduced to the OT Practice Framework and an occupation based model of practice.
