MIS-301 Enterprise Info Sys & Technology

This course introduces the student to the field of information systems and technology. The topics covered in this course will include the following: the components of an information system, information systems development, hardware and software, network technology, data management, information system security, and the strategic use of information systems. A particular focus of the course will include the use of information systems to solve business problems and improve business performance.
