Student Handbook 2022-2023

Letter from the Dean of Students

Dear Keuka College Students,

Welcome to the Keuka College family! We’re thrilled to have you here. You’re about to begin a new chapter in your journey -- an incredibly exciting and important chapter. We hope you recognize the fantastic opportunities that await you. And we encourage you to reach out to the many resources available to help you take full advantage of them.

One of our core values at Keuka College is prioritizing the success of each and every student, and that means providing support and opportunities inside the classroom and out. Successful students are well-rounded students who immerse themselves in the social and extracurricular life of the College.

The Office of Student Life/Dean of Students Office in the Dahlstrom Student Center provides support, services, and programming for students in the areas of Residence Life, Inclusion and Belonging, Leadership and Engagement, and Community Standards and Student Invention. These programs and services empower students to take part in new experiences and become involved in all aspects of College life.

During your time at Keuka College, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in clubs and organizations that reflect a wide array of topics and interests. You’ll also be able to participate in and attend programs that explore different faiths and cultures. I encourage you to open your arms -- and your mind -- to these new opportunities. The staff from the Office of Student Life is here to support you.

If there is a club or organization you don’t see, or a program you’d like to see offered to the Keuka College community, please reach out to a staff member from the Office of Student Life. We’ll work with you to determine potential next steps for your idea.

But regardless of whether you join an existing club or launch a new one (or both!), we encourage you to take part in the opportunities you’ll find at Keuka College. Your time here will be largely what you make it. We aim to help you make it the best that it can be.
