NUR-308 Found of Nursing Practice

"This course explores traditional nursing interventions, including the underlying theoretic and/or research framework. The student learns fundamental nursing skills in the clinical laboratory highlighting critical thinking and its importance to clinical reasoning and clinical decision-making. The nursing process is applied in assessing strategies of communication and in gathering, interpreting, and analyzing data to form culturally sensitive and valid nursing judgments. Skills are practiced in a clinical laboratory prior to their application to client situations in community-based settings.(Offered every fall semester.)"
