Student Success

The Office of Student Success helps students succeed in their academic endeavors and assists them in becoming competent, independent learners. Professional assistance is provided by the Dean of Student Success, the Assistant Director of Student Success, and several Student Success Advisors.  The Student Success Advisors offer students academic counseling and individual and small group instruction in test-taking, time management, and general learning strategies. Tutoring in academic subjects, provided by trained peer tutors who work with students individually or in groups, can be requested. Located on the first floor of Hegeman Hall, Room 107, Student Success is a hub for student success advising, student disability services, tutoring, Career Services, and the Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP).
