Spanish

The Spanish program at Keuka College offers courses in Spanish language, literature, Latin American and cross-cultural studies. The minor in Spanish and Area Studies emphasizes community-engaged language and intercultural skills to prepare students in all programs (business, nursing, occupational therapy, social work, education, criminal justice, and any other fields) to use their language proficiency in both professional and personal contexts. The Spanish program also offers opportunities for real-world experiences, whether spending a Field Period in a foreign country or in a Spanish-speaking community in the United States. Courses in all levels of Spanish language, literature, Latin American and cross-cultural studies that lead to the completion of the minor are taught every semester. (See course descriptions)
