College Record 2016-2017

Athletics

Based on the old adage “healthy body, healthy mind,” Keuka College supports a high-quality intercollegiate and intramural athletics program. It is possible for all students to participate in some supervised sport. For those with particular athletic skills and interest, there are varsity teams. For others there is the opportunity to participate in the intramural program, for which competitive teams are organized from residence halls and other groups on campus. Non-competitive leisure activities are also offered.

The intercollegiate teams are members of the NCAA Division III, and the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC). Women compete in soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball, cross country, golf, field hockey, and lacrosse. Men’s sports include basketball, lacrosse, soccer, cross country, golf, baseball, and volleyball. Co-ed sports include cheerleading, dance, step team and equestrian.

Indoor facilities include two gymnasiums, locker rooms, fitness and strength centers, video-conference room and an athletic training suite. The Jephson Community Athletic Complex features Kuhl Field (baseball), a softball field, several practice fields, and a lighted artificial turf competition field. Keuka College also supports six outdoor tennis courts. Located only a few miles from campus are both Riesling Ridge Stables (equestrian) and Lakeside County Club (golf).
