SWK-555 Practice III

Generalist Social Work Practice focuses on macro level social work practice which includes the study of community systems within the social environment. This course critically examines the reciprocal dynamics between community members, the social worker as a professional and entities including macro level government, funding agents, and human service agencies. Theories and practice of community organizaitons, needs assessments and the social worker's role in all of the above will be discussed.
