OCC-225 Occupational Science †

This course will examine the principles of occupational science and the use of occupation to establish meaning and competence. Students will understand how people establish identity through the development of the occupational self. In addition, they will apply the strategies of foundational task and activity analysis to occupations in context. Students will recognize the influence of occupation on well-being and quality of life through understanding an occupation based practice model.
