MAT-220 Structures of Number System †

This course is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of the structure of mathematics. There will be an emphasis on conceptual understanding, mathematical literacy and problem-solving. It covers such topics as numeration systems, number theory, rational numbers, integers, probability, use of graphing calculators, and geometric figures, including transformations, tessellation, similarity, symmetry and measurement.
