INS-301P IS:The Brain, Neuro-Ethics & Society

This course explores developments in contemporary neuroscience and the profound ethical questions raised by this research. The course considers how our evolving understanding of the human brain demands that we reconsider very fundamental question regarding human nature-issues that are not just of scientific and philosophical concern but also have historically informed and guided our broader culture, our social value and societal practices.
