Tutoring Services

Writing & Reading Assistance

The Keuka College Writing & Tutoring Center is a free service available to all Keuka College students. The Writing & Tutoring Center staff and peer tutors work with students in all programs and all courses at any stage of the writing process. In addition, we give students the tools to decipher difficult texts such as scholarly articles. Services can be accessed through in-person meetings, virtual meeting via Zoom or Teams, and written feedback on student papers. To submit a paper or make an appointment, go to keuka.mywconline.com. If it is a student’s first time there, they will need to create an account, which just takes a few seconds. If students have questions or would like more information, please email the office at WritingCenter@keuka.edu. The Writing & Tutoring Center is located in Hegeman 107 and students are always welcome to stop in.

Subject Tutoring

Tutoring services are free to all Keuka College students. The Keuka College peer tutors have “walked in your shoes,” and they can help reinforce course content and strengthen study skills, memorization techniques, note-taking skills, and methods to stay organized. If you would like a tutor, go to keuka.mywconline.com and choose the "Subject tutoring schedule." You will find subjects listed. If you do not see the subject you need, have any questions, or would like to request more information, please contact Catherine Agar, Director of Writing & Tutoring Center, at cagar@keuka.edu.

Supplemental Instruction

Supplemental Instruction are study sessions facilitated by trained “near-peer” students who help students in the class understand course material through hands-on work with the concepts being taught. Supplemental Instruction is available for select courses. Please ask your instructor if there are Supplemental Instruction sessions for your class.
