Building Exteriors and Windows

No student is allowed to be on the roof, ledge, or side of any building owned by College. If a student is found on the roof, ledges, or sides of any building owned by Keuka College, the student will be subject to disciplinary action.

Windows, screens, and window blocks must be intact at all times – this includes common areas and lounges. Any tampering with windows or screens, entering or exiting through windows, passing any objects through windows, or throwing, dropping, or hanging/displaying objects from windows is prohibited, and may result in disciplinary action.

  • Flashing lights or images are prohibited from being displayed in residence halls and apartment windows.
  • Anything visible from outside of a building is subject to removal by the College.
  • Blinds/shades are provided on each window and must remain intact.
  • As a safety precaution, residents are encouraged to lock windows when not in the room and when sleeping.
