Students who transfer up to 44 credits are required to take KC-101.
Students who transfer 45-59 credits are required to take KC-102.
Students who transfer 60+ credits are required to take KC-103 in preparation for the Field Period experience.

AOE programs include an alternate experiential learning component as part of required coursework instead of the field period experience and thus waive the 100-level KC course requirement.

PHYSICAL NATURAL WORLD: Complete one 3-4 credit science course with a laboratory from the following subjects: Astronomy (AST), Biology (BIO), Chemistry (CHM), Environmental Science (ENV), Geography (GEO), Physics (PHY).

Breadth of Knowledge GROUP 2

CULTURE, COMMUNITY AND SOCIETY:  Complete 9 credits in at least 2 different subjects from Economics (ECO), History (HIS), Political Science (POL), Religion (REL), Sociology (SOC), or Foreign Language, including Spanish (SPA), French (FRE), or American Sign Language (ASL) as one subject, or ENG-207.

Breadth of Knowledge GROUP 3

LITERATURE, ETHICS AND SELF:  Complete 6 credits from at least 2 different subjects from English Literature (ENG/LIT), Philosophy (PHL) or Psychology (PSY).
