Under Enrolled Courses
Minimum enrollment for course sections is determined by the following:

A minimum of seven students is required for traditional on-campus course sections
•
A minimum of five students is required for graduate course sections
•
Minimum enrollment for online classes is determined by the Registrar’s Office on a case-by-case basis
Courses that fall below the minimum enrollment standards will be reviewed by the division, the Registrar’s Office, and the provost, and will be subject to cancellation. Course sections may also be cancelled by the Division Chair due to varying factors such as course maintenance, program needs, staffing concerns, and/or scheduling conflicts.
Students must monitor cancellation communications and their semester schedule and add credit as needed to retain minimum enrollment. If a course section is cancelled, the student must be aware of the possible financial aid implications of dropping below full-time status (12 credits for undergraduate and 9 credits for graduate).
