Music

Music courses at Keuka College allow students to increase their knowledge and appreciation for music as well as improve specific music skills and performance practices in a variety of settings. Several courses emphasize the cultural and historical context of music while also stimulating students’ listening skills. Students can also take private lessons in piano, voice, woodwinds and brass, as well as instruction in song- writing and improvisation. Performance opportunities at Keuka College include solo and small group recitals, Chorale, Jazz Band and a select acappella group, QKAppella. (See course descriptions, Music [MUS].)
