BIO-380 Biostatistics

Application of statistical techniques to scientific research in the environmental and health-related fields, including medicine, biology, public health, and the environmental sciences and the development of new tools to study these areas. This course is an introduction to the most frequently used parametric and non-parametric techniques for analyzing biological data. The design of experiments, methods of sampling, and the presentation of data will also be covered. Assignments will involve manual calculations and the use of statistical software.
