College Record 2017-2018

Course Load

The usual course load is 30 semester credit hours during each academic year, including three semester credits for a Field Period experience. Students typically enroll in five 3-credit courses each semester.  Some majors require slightly larger loads.

Permission may be granted through an Exception to Policy to exceed the normal number of semester credit hours in any given semester on the basis of previous academic achievement. A per-credit charge is assessed for over 19 hours a semester or 36 per year.

Minimum Enrollment

Under-enrolled courses may be cancelled or rescheduled at the discretion of the associate vice president for academic programs.

Students must monitor cancellation communications and their semester schedule and add credit as needed to retain minimum enrollment.
