ENG-091 College Reading and Study Skills

Placement based upon TOEFL or IELTS scores. This course is designed to meet the academic needs of non-native speakers of English who seek to develop their academic skills and to improve their success in college courses. In addition to effective reading strategies, vocabulary development, and listening skills are stressed. Written expression is used to incread reading comprehension and promote more advanced levels of academic thought. The class schedule for this course is the equivalent to one four-credit course.
